This is the story of a man a lonely man
a man living alone he's lived alone foras long as he can remember why hedoesn't know he spends his days doingodd jobs around the house or when it'swarm enough he likes to sit on the grassoutside and ponder the meaning of lifein the evening he watches televisionnothing in particular just whatever's onor whatever's not sports unfortunately
for him this evening though histelevision starts to play up and losesits signal he sits there frustratedhoping it'll sort itself out whensuddenly it loses power completely andshortly after that his whole house goesdown great just great he thinks tohimself as he sits there in the darkpondering what he should do next it'slate so does he just go to bed and dealwith it in the morning or go outside tothe fuse box and try to fix ithe soon decides it's best out with nowgets up and goes out the back dooronce outside his overcome with a veryodd feeling he looks up and is frozen inshock with what he sees a huge creatureis in his yard just sitting therestaring at him it has a huge head and a
small body a lot like a babyexcept this thing is massive and thisthing looks hideous it has two hugeempty eyes and several thorns stickingout of its head what the hell he thinksto himself where did this thing comefrom and what do I do now
hello he offers up not knowing what elseto say the creature just stares back athim as it's oversized head tilts aroundas if it's also trying to figure outwhat it's looking at who are you he asksbut once again nothing the creature
appears to be holding some kind of sticklike a huge breadstick which it slowlypushes into its mouth and stirs aroundthe man has no idea what to make of thisno idea what to do nextthen it pulls the stick out of its mouthits mucus clinging to it like glue andthen offers it up to the man in whatappears to be a gesture of friendshipthe man however is repulsed by this and
shouted the creature to get thisdisgusting thing out of his face he thenasked the creature where he came fromand what he's doing here but once againthere's no replythe creature not comprehending any ofthis playfully raises the stick and thenthrows it past the man where it smashesinto the door of his house the man hasnow had enough the newfound courage heshouts at the creature and tells him toget out of his yard or else he'll callthe policethe creature unfazed by his outburstjust stares back at him in a naturallyunsettling way this infuriates the maneven more coupled with the fact of howstupid he must sound talking to amonster baby and how even stupid hewould sound trying to explain this tothe police then the baby lurched forwardand grabbed hold of the man I'm nothaving this he thought to himself and hesunk his teeth into the creatures handand bit down as hard as he could untilit released him he fell to the groundand then watch closely as the creaturesbottom lip began to tremble and then hewinced as it let out a god-awful screamas it rolled back onto the ground cryingits eyes out the man had had enoughperhaps if I call the fire brigade hethought to himself or the army orsuddenly his train of thought was haltedas he saw an enormous pair of handsdescend from the darkness above and thenpick up the creature the man's legs wentweak with fear as he looked further upinto the heavens to see a huge fistbearing down on himit struck him with incredible force andsmashed him into the ground below he hadoften wondered what lay out in the greatwide world and now he would never know
