The Married Couple - Animated Scary Story

On a warm Saturday night a married couple having  just finished viewing a midnight screening at  
their local cinema headed off home to their  apartment just a few blocks away as they approach  
their apartment they noticed a scuffle occurring  and once they were closer they could see that it  
was a woman being robbed of her handbag the couple  both looked on in shock until the wife shouted to  
the man it's a homeless woman do something the  man not thinking charged towards the women and  
lashed out the homeless looking woman with all  his might she was knocked out cold and lay there  
bleeding on the pavement the couple then turned  their attention to the young lady who was clearly  
shaken up the man's wife told her to come inside  and they would call the police once inside they  
gave the young lady a hot drink which helped to  calm her nerves or the man made a phone call to  
the police he explained the situation and the  police decided not to attend the incident for  
it was a very low priority for them on what was a  busier than usual weekend night once this was said  
the man's wife immediately offered their couch for  the girl to stay on for the night for this she was  
very grateful and she couldn't bear the thought of  venturing outside again tonight the woman bought  
her a blanket and soon she fell asleep followed  by the couple also retiring to their bedroom
later into the night the woman awoke thirsty so  she headed off into the kitchen to get herself  
a drink as she made her way into the room she was  startled to see that the lady was no longer there  
and wondered if she had decided to leave she then  noticed her handbag had been left behind with its  
contents spilling out so she walked over to put  them back in not wanting anything to be lost as  
she looked down at the contents she noticed what  she thought was the lady's driver's license she
immediately felt sick to her stomach as on closer  inspection she realized it wasn't the young lady's  
driver's license at all it was the license of  the woman they thought was homeless horrified  
at what they had done her mind began racing about  what to do next as it appeared that her husband  
had assaulted a seemingly innocent woman who was  being robbed to make matters worse they had led a  
criminal into their house and she had no idea  where she was the young lady had not gone far  
in the bedroom out of the shadows she loomed over  the sleeping man and lifted a huge knife into the  
air above him she paused briefly and then brought  it down with all her might when the woman heard  
her husband's scream in pain she momentarily  froze in fear until she was able to summon the  
strength to make her way back over to the long  dark hallway as her eyes adjusted she could make  
out the solemn silhouette of the young lady still  brandishing the large kitchen knife what have you  
done asked the woman he was mine replied the girl  what do you mean said the woman he was mine he  
said he was leaving you so we could be together  forever but then he wouldn't he said he wouldn't  
he said it was over the woman then realized that  this woman was her husband's mistress and that  
clearly things had gone very sour between them  what have you done the woman asked again I've  
killed him said the girl and now I'm going to kill  you the lady charged at her like a wild animal the  
woman quickly ducked into another room locked the  door and sat on the ground cowering in fear the  
young lady began to bash on the door screaming  hysterically at the top of her lungs she then  
began to stab through the door and the women  thought her fate was sealed until suddenly it  
stopped there was not a sound for what felt like  an eternity until the woman heard a voice another  
voice it wasn't the young lady it was someone else  are you okay it asked opened the door no said the  
lady as she moved away then somehow the person  behind the door had managed to force the lock  
and the door slowly opened it was the woman from  outside the woman they thought was homeless and a  
criminal after I came to she explained I wandered  around outside briefly and then I heard screams I  
came upstairs and entered your apartment as the  door was wide open when that girl saw me again  
she ran for it where did she go the woman asked  straight out the window the lady said she's Paul
you.
